Dimitrios Bormpoudakis is Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Department of Geography at Harokopio University, Greece and the School of Anthropology and Conservation at the University of Kent, UK. He has a background in ecology and conservation and his varied research interests include environmental modelling, the sounds of infrastructure, the political ecologies of exile and displacement, and neoliberal natures. He has published in peer-reviewed academic journals, magazines and gallery publications. Among his most cherished outputs is the mini-CD The Frogs of Lake Kerkini released by Orila and noise-below.
