Fahmi R. Fahroji
Fahmi R. Fahroji is PhD student in Science and Technology Studies at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He holds a Master of Research in Human Geography from the University of Glasgow and a BA in Cultural Anthropology from Universitas Gadjah Mada. His research interests include political geology, alternative worldviews with the earth and extractivism. Fahmi’s current research project explores the history and social studies of oil engineering in Indonesia, with a focus on the intersections of petroleum science, technology and underground infrastructure. His work and scholarship encompass science and technology studies, anthropology and environmental humanities.
